After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson-a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any "normal" friends.
But things don't stay quiet for long. Percy soon discovers there is trouble at Camp Half-Blood: the magical borders which protect Half-Blood Hill have been poisoned by a mysterious enemy, and the only safe haven for demigods is on the verge of being overrun by mythological monsters. To save the camp, Percy needs the help of his best friend, Grover, who has been taken prisoner by the Cyclops Polyphemus on an island somewhere in the Sea of Monsters, the dangerous waters Greek heroes have sailed for millennia-only today, the Sea of Monsters goes by a new name.the Bermuda Triangle.
Now Percy and his friends-Grover, Annabeth, and Tyson-must retrieve the Golden Fleece from the Island of the Cyclopes by the end of the summer or Camp Half-Blood will be destroyed. But first, Percy will learn a stunning new secret about his family-one that makes him question whether being claimed as Poseidon's son is an honor or simply a cruel joke.

This is the second book in an incredible series! One day at school Percy is attacked by monsters and Annabeth comes in and helps defeat them! But when she tells Percy there is trouble at camp and he needs to come with her she tells him that his friend Tyson can't come because he is a Cyclops! He had no idea, the mist had been tricking him the whole time! At camp the problem was that the tree that protects them had been poisoned! It terns out Grover went missing to! So Percy, Tyson, and Annabeth (with out permission) went to find the only thing that can save their camp the golden fleece and of course Grover!

This was a great book! After a very dangerous game of dodgeball, played against Laistrygonians with cannonballs, Percy Jackson finds his beloved demigod training camp in grave danger: the camp's magical borders are failing, and monsters keep invading the camp because Thalia Grace 's pine tree, that contains her soul ,is poisoned. With Chiron, the activities director and the famous demigod trainer, is forced to leave, Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson,a Cyclops and Percy's half brother go on a quest to get the Golden Fleece, the only item that will restore peace to the camp...

The sequel to Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief is super! Percy's school year is quiet... until a band of angry cannibals attack his school! The mysterious arrival of his friend, Annabeth, brings Percy and Tyson to Camp Half-Blood and Percy discovers that Tyson is a Cyclops and that Thalia's pine tree has been poisoned by Luke. And Percy goes on a dangerous quest to save Grover and Camp Half-Blood.

This story is about how Percy goes on a journey to save Grover. At the end he is rescued and the unexpected happens. Thalia ( Daughter of Zeus) is revived. I connect this story with text to world becaus ea lot of bad things are in the world and there are good people to solve it, like in this case Percy Jackson. I give this story a 5 star because it was a fun read and more effort was definitely put into it.

I think this book is super! Full of action and drama! The characters are brave in the book. Anyone who dares to fight Cronus, lord of time, is brave to me.

its an amazing book if you are one of those people who like to read and like to think of things as movies. and is a great series and always makes you wanna continue reading

I liked the Sea of Monsters but I didn't LOVE it. But if you're reading the PJO series you should definitely read it.

This was a really good book. I loved how it introduced the characters and discribed them well. I also loved how the charcters were really brought to life in just a matter of a few chapters and then the rest of the book consisted of an amazing adventure that you feel your apart of.

Not the best but still very enjoyable.3 stars
