Nick and Tesla are bright 11-year-old siblings with a knack for science, electronics, and getting into trouble. When their parents mysteriously vanish, they’re sent to live with their Uncle Newt, a brilliant inventor who engineers top-secret gadgets for a classified government agency. It’s not long before Nick and Tesla are embarking on adventures of their own—engineering all kinds of outrageous MacGyverish contraptions to save their skin: 9-volt burglar alarms, electromagnets, mobile tracking devices, and more. Readers are invited to join in the fun as each story contains instructions and blueprints for five different projects.

In Nick and Tesla’s High-Voltage Danger Lab, we meet the characters and learn how to make everything from rocket launchers to soda-powered vehicles. Learning about science has never been so dangerous—or so much fun!

A mystery, adventure, and activity book all rolled into one entertaining story....Plenty of excitement, with science. Overall I liked this book. It's not like any other book

I thought that this was a good book. It had action and science. I am hoping to build some of the stuff from the book this summer.

I like this kind of book that is about something that could never happen. This was a fun book to read. I liked the mystery.

This is a really great book! Its about two 11 year old siblings named nick and Tesla. If you like robots then this will bean awesome great book for you to read!

I really really liked this book. It was original and funny. It was about two smart siblings named Nick and Telsa and they like to build many things and do many "experiments." After their parents have to leave on a short notice, Nick and Telsa had to go and spend their summer with Uncle Newt, and they haven't seen him for years knowing that he is very crazy and is one of those MAD scientists. When they got to build this water rocket, they became noticed with this situation and they would have to solve it before it's too late with their gadgets... dun dun dunnn.

I like this book because it's full of mysteries, action, and inventions. I would give this a 5 star. Nick and Tesla go to their Uncle Newts House after their parents leave to study soybeans in Uzbekistan. When they get to their Uncle Newts house they figure out that their uncle is a scientist. They make a rocket and accidentally launch it into an abandoned houses yard. When Nick goes to fetch it two dogs named Jaws and Claws come out of nowhere and chases Nick. Then they meet two kids named Silos and Demarco. The next morning Nick and Tesla create a plan to get the rocket ship back. When Nick gets over the fence he sees a girl locked up in a room with a sign saying GO AWAY. Then Nick hears Jaws and Claws and decides to go back to safety. Will Nick and Tesla unravel all the mysteries in the neighborhood? If you want to find out read the book!

Nick and Tesla go to live with their uncle Newt after their parents go to some crazy country I can't pronounce to study the growth of soybeans. They then learn that uncle Newt is a crazy robotic inventor!

Nick and Teslas High-Voltage lab:A mystery with gadgets you can build yourself is an awesome book! I highly recommend it! Its a great summer read!

Nick and Tesla are two 11 year old siblings with an interest in science, humor, and electronics. Their parents vanish, so they have to go live with their Uncle Newt. Read as you watch the interesting stories of their inventions unfold before your own very eyes. This book even comes with 5 blueprint designs so that you can conduct these experiments, AT HOME!!!

Nick and Tesla are brother and sister. Their parents have gone to Uzebkistan. They have sent Nick and Tesla to stay with their uncle for the summer. When they arrive they find their uncle covered in orange goo. He is a scientist. He tells Nick and Tesla that they are welcome to use his lab. When Nick and Tesla go investigating the neighborhood, they find that they will have to get creative building gadgets to save themselves from mean dogs and bad guys. Think the movie Home Alone.
