Nick and Tesla are bright 11-year-old siblings with a knack for science, electronics, and getting into trouble. When their parents mysteriously vanish, they’re sent to live with their Uncle Newt, a brilliant inventor who engineers top-secret gadgets for a classified government agency. It’s not long before Nick and Tesla are embarking on adventures of their own—engineering all kinds of outrageous MacGyverish contraptions to save their skin: 9-volt burglar alarms, electromagnets, mobile tracking devices, and more. Readers are invited to join in the fun as each story contains instructions and blueprints for five different projects.

In Nick and Tesla’s High-Voltage Danger Lab, we meet the characters and learn how to make everything from rocket launchers to soda-powered vehicles. Learning about science has never been so dangerous—or so much fun!

I like technology a lot and gadgets this would be the perfect book for me. But why how do Nick and Tesla's parents mysteriously vanish just like that?

I thought this was a good book. I liked it and then I gave it to my mom to read, too. I agree that kids who like robots will like reading this book.

Something strange is going on in Half Moon Bay. There's a mysterious black van driving around town, a girl in a windowsill, and freaky dogs at a mansion that's being renovated. Nick and Tesla, stuck with their inventor Uncle Newt, need to find out what's going on before they get themselves into trouble.

I like robots and I think that this book is great for people who do like robots. There is a story, and inside the story there are some make-your-own robot guides. I love this book, and I love robots!!

You don't have to be old with wrinkles to build inventions. Nick and Telsa are the perfect examples, young and intelligent eleven-year-olds that have made numerous amazing stuff! Making something is like what they do!

My son wants to read this series!
