Rafe Khatchadorian has enough problems at home without throwing his first year of middle school into the mix. Luckily, he's got an ace plan for the best year ever, if he can pull it off. With his best friend Leonardo the Silent awarding him points, Rafe tries to break every rule in his school's oppressive Code of Conduct. Chewing gum in class - 5,000 points! Running in the hallway - 10,000 points! Pulling the fire alarm - 50,000 points! But when Rafe's game starts to catch up with him, he'll have to decide if winning is all that matters, or if he's finally ready to face the rules, bullies, and truths he's been avoiding.

This book is a wonderful telling of what middle school is like for teenagers. Some of the things done in this book are not to be done in real life, but they sure are fun. Ralph is the main character whose mom is in a relationship will a bum whom Ralph has labeled Bear. Ralph and his invisible friend Leo the Silent will keep your attention and really bring you into their lives.

I loved this book although I would never do any of this it was just hilarious reading about someone who would! this book was AMAZING! I read the whole thing in 1 day!

I gave this book 5 stars because it was silly, funny and entertaining. This book is the beginning of the middle school series. I hope middle school isn't the worst years of my life!

I extremly reccomened this book because it's full of laughs and pranks.Mostly everybody hates the school because they call it like a prison. It's full of bullies and they constantly disturbing innocent people.

This book is definetly comedy. I love this book so much because it has comedy on EVERY page! Have you ever not gotten anything right in middle school, well this boy gets in trouble all the time and never does anything, the way he is supposed to. Follow him (they guy who never does anything right) around middle school and find out how many mistakes, a human can make.

An extremely good book. james patterson really hit the big time on this one! There are 3 other books in this series. I recommend it for 10-15 yr olds.

Rafe is a boy who has many troubles. When he goes to a new school, he decides to break all the rules as his goal. Soon though, he realized that rule-breaking isn;t what i t's up to be.
