Ghosts is a good book
Must say, loved it! This author has a cool way of writing: this is a comic book! So when two girls have to move because one of them has a breathing disorder, they aren't quite sure about the foggy town. But a day of the dead celebration brings them to recognize their lost loved ones and to bring them out of the shell and come to love the town!
Ghost is not a scary book but kinda a halloween book or just a pinch of religous book. CeCE moved to a new a town and everything there was about ghost and she thought the village people where crazy until she took a hike.
I liked this book a lot I wish the author would have added some more detail in the story. Overall it was a great story
This is a book I love to read all the time. Ghosts is about two sisters, Catrina and Maya. They are moving to Bahia de la Luna because it is suppsot to help Maya's health. After they move they found out a scary suprise, many ghosts are living in their town. Read the book to find all the amazing adventures that the go through to see just what will happen with tons of ghost in their town!
Catrina and Maya are moving because Maya is sick, but they find ghosts. This is a really good book because the plot is good and the characters have a lot of connections with people in real life. Many people have to move. It also has some things about Mexican culture, which , in my opinion, is very interesting.
I read both Raina Telegemeir's Sisters and Smile and both really enjoyed them because they related to me, so when I saw this book I was really excited. Catrina and her family have just moved to the very breezy ( and might I also say creepy) town on the North Californian coast called Bahia de Luna. Catrina is not happy about the move but she knows that the cool salty air of the town is supposed to help her little sister Maya with her cystic fibrosis. The only problem is the town is what the town is known for.......its ghosts. Can Catrina survive in her new home and if she can will her sister still be there with her? This was a really good book althought admittedly a litttle strange at the end, but for the most part I liked it.
I read this a couple times. It is a book about 2 sisters who move and find that there whole new town believes in ghosts. Catrina does not like ghosts and is terrified and Maya (her sister) is thrilled!!! This book reminds me of me and my sister. I will recommend this to anyone who likes ghosts, adventure, and comics!
