Dawn Schafer is the newest member of The Baby-sitters Club. While she's still adjusting to life in Stoneybrook after moving from sunny California, she's eager to accept her first big job. But taking care of the three Barrett kids would be too much for any baby-sitter. The house is always a mess, the kids are out of control, and Mrs. Barrett never does any of the things she promises. On top of all that, Dawn wants to fit in with the other members of the BSC, but she can't figure out how to get along with Kristy. Was joining The Baby-sitters Club a mistake?

Dawn is the newest member of the BSC, and she is happy to take her first clients. Until she finds out that the three Barrett kids are just...WAY TOO MUCH. The house is always a mess, the kids have no discipline, and Mrs. Barrett is always forgetful. One day, Buddy Barrett goes missing. Turns out Mrs. Barrett's ex husband took him. Will Dawn quit the BSC?

Have a nice time reading this book!

I love this book! It's my favorite book out of the babysitters club books. I don't know why it's my favorite, maybe because Dawn is one of my favorite characters.

this book was funny but also sad and stressful to Dawn because when a kid gets lost the police also comes to look for him .at the end dawn starts babysitting them too much that she goes to Mrs.Barrett that she needs a break from them but Mrs. barrett is furious to let dawn stay she gives her soo much offers but dawn said no thanks you and went away.

I really liked this book!

This book was pretty good; it’s about Dawn, who babysits for the Barrett’s, however she starts to babysit for them... TOO MUCH. She runs into a lot of problems, too. Like the house is always a MESS, Marine is allergic to chocolate, and Mrs. Barrett’s ex husband calling. At the same time, Kristy Thomas, president of the BSC, feels left out because Dawn and Mary Anne’s parents are going out together. If there was a minor mistake about this book, it would be the art by Gale Galligan. It isn’t the best compared to the other BSC books he drew and Raina Teligmeiner. All in all, great book! :D

Awesome but the author's drawinngs are not my favorite but still this is my favorite book out of the series

This book was pretty good! Dawn Schafer has just moved to Stoneybrook. She made friends with Mary Anne and was very excited when Mary Anne offered to see if Dawn could join the Bsc. Kristy isn't so excited about a new member, but everyone wants Dawn to join, so Kristy lets her. But when Dawn takes on a very hard charge- the Barretts- Dawn is a bit worried. The Barretts' house is a mess, Mrs. Barrett never does what she says she will and she forgets to tell Dawn things, and the kids are wild! Dawn remembers that she wants to stay in the bsc and works extra hard- cleaning the house and sitting the kids. But when a horrible thing happens when she's sitting them, Dawn is worried. Will she stay in the bsc? Happy reading!
