this is a great book but just in english we read it in my 3 grade class 2 years ago and watched the movie i recommend this as a children book it is a very good book and has a great message
I loved this book because winn dixie is a really awesome dog and he is matched up with the perfect owner. The reason opal got winn dixie was that she spotted him at the grocery store and told the manager it was her dog!!

The part of Winn-Dixie that I liked was when the girl went to old, women that the kids had called her a witch because she was drunk.The dad of the girl was a preach and the dad wanted to get her dog out because she found the dog walking in the street.The girl made a party of every one to come to have a dinner and they loved it ,while they where having a good time they lost Winn-Dixie and the girl ran home sad and while she was there she found Winn-Dixie.P.Sshe found Winn-Dixie in a store of food.
Because of Winn Dixie is sad and funny this book is amazing my favorite part of this book is when they nearly find Winn Dixie and also when they Winn Dixie and laugh toeghther and run and play toeghther

Because of Winn-Dixie was a very heartwarming book and I found it to be a fun and touching read.
