The Little Mermaid is a children's fantasy movie directed by Chris Bouchard and Blake Harris. It was released in 2018 featuring some famous actors such as Shirley MacLaine and William Moseley. The movie is about a reporter and his neice trying to save a mermaid from an evil man. I think that the original idea of the film was good, but it had poor acting, watered down scenes, and a hard to understand plot. I do not recommend wasting your time on this movie.

Spellbound is an inspiring documentary that follows eight young spelling bee competitors as they prepare for the national finals. It is a very educational film and I recommend it for all ages.

Chasing Vermeer is a great book about two twelve year olds who try to solve the mystery of a stolen Vermeer painting. It is a very suspenseful book full of coincidences and I recommend it greatly!
