I agree :) Think of those poor children all around the world that can't even eat every day.. I think everyone should appreciate what they have.. :D Inspirational!Over 9 years agokbattistoniliked a comment in Oakland-Based Imperfect Will Sell Only "Ugly" Fruits And Vegetables.
Wow! What a great way to spread the care of the environment amongst everyone. I love all the creative ideas our world is coming up with. Some of these "imperfect" products even look tasty! I think the world should realize that if we run out of perfect looks, the only fruit we'll have would be looking like this. In any circumstance, our fruit will eventually end up looking like these fruits. Fruit will always be just fruit. They will always provide healthy benefits no matter what. So why do looks matter? It's because we are selfish and we want things that look pretty. I may sound harsh, but let's face it: don't you always pick the smooth and evenly shaped products? In the grocery store, if an apple is wrapped in a bag and on the ground, you probably won't pick it up, right? Now imagine tat is the only apple the world has left. You would grab it without a moment's hesitation. It's all going to be eaten anyway. Plus, who said that the pretty apples are considered pretty? What if the world was switched around and everyone was eating squashed apples instead? Would it matter in both situations which world sounds better? NO! Eat what you have, and don't take it for granted.Over 9 years agokbattistoniliked a comment in Oakland-Based Imperfect Will Sell Only "Ugly" Fruits And Vegetables.
