This book is a really great example of how much times change. This boy from the 2000s gets a new phone and finds somehow there is a ghost from the 1500s trapped in the phone. Whathisface (Cooper) is teased and made fun of for various reasons. This book is a real cliffhanger and it has a super interesting climax. I would recommend this book fro kids ages 8+, (especially if you like Shakespeare).

Super good! So good I bought it!!!
Cooper Vega is a real whatshisface at his school, or should i say schools? He moved 5 times in the last 3 years! on this most recent move he got a new phone, however its very buggy. It makes odd noises so he cant sleep, every time he takes a picture there's a silver glob. All these bugs are making Cooper wonder... until there's a ghost in there from Shakespeare's time! As Cooper tries to help the ghost, he realizes something.... odd about Romeo and Juliet...
For his entire life, Cooper has been known by simply "Whatshisface". Since he moves a lot because of his dad's job, he doesn't usually stick around long enough to get to know other kids. So his parents get him and his sister a phone. Cooper is super excited to finally have one! But his seems to malfunction...there's the blotches in pictures, the weird noises during the middle of the night, and finally...a voice. "Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?" Cooper's phone is possessed-by a kid from the 1500s! Cooper and Roddy become friends. Roddy's "eyes" are the camera and his "ears" are the phone's speaker. This is a super short read, and this book is HILARIOUS! The plot gets thicker and thicker but it is laughable because of Roddy's attempts to help Cooper in his 1500s way and his unbelief and amazement at everyday modern items! But it turns out Roddy isn't the normal (well...not exactly normal LOL) kid that he seems....*wink, wink* READ THE BOOK!

Awesome book totally would read again
I have this book and it turning out ok
I totally like this book. But, what actually gave me the goosebumps about this book, is that there's a ghost. And I'm afraid of ghosts. I think this book is pretty good, but it can also improve by adding more conversation (dialogue) and more drama.
(Fiction) Cooper Vega lives in a town that revolves around Shakespeare because the mayor loves him. He gets a new phone and it is very glitchy and is very annoying. He soon realizes that a ghost named Robby from the 17th century is stuck in his phone! So weird/cool. They figure out that in order for Robby to get out of the phone he has to fulfill his purpose. It turns out that back when Robby was alive, he actually wrote "Romeo and Juliet," but died before ending his story. Shakespeare stole it, finished the story, renamed it, and made himself the author of the play. Robby and Cooper break into the mayor's Shakespeare museum and find the script to prove that it was stolen, but will they get caught or not? U'll hafta read the rest... :)
