This book is incredible but the author is even more incredible. I'm in Book Battle and one of our visiting authors was April Henry. She explained how she wrote her book. The book it's self is based off of real high school kids who do search and rescue. The story is that three kids go around trying to figure out a mystery about a bunch of murders to girls who are homeless or are passing as homeless, while they are all dealing with their own problems. If you like murder mysteries then this is definitely the book for you.
The Body in the Woods is a mystery book. I give it ✯✯✯✯✯. It is about a group of three teenagers, Alexis, Nick, and Ruby. They participate in Portland Search and Rescue. In Portland Search and Rescue they are looking for a missing person but instead they find a girl’s body. There are 263 pages and 53 short chapters. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure.
i thought it was a good romance / mystery
it is a real thrill with murder and suspense
I am not finished with this book yet but it is so good it is full of suspense and mystery. The part that I am on is the part when Alexis thinks she finds Bobby but when she gets closer she finds this person who is thinner than Bobby and has long blond hair not short and brown hair. Then she finds out this person is not Bobby its someone else. I am not that far into the book as I said already but it is already so suspenseful but I am only on page 27! and it is already great I cant wait tell I find out who the body is and if they find Bobby.
