Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas: From the Creator of Captain Underpants (Dog Man #5)

Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas: From the Creator of Captain Underpants (Dog Man #5)

By Dav Pilkey

I love Dog Man. I started reading the books in 4th grade when I was introduced to it. I was given a free paper dog man book with 33 pages. Anyways, I loved it. I bought two hardcover books for a total of $20. I read them both in one hour. My brother's school had a book fair and he bought to for $20, as well. Same thing happened with him, he read them both in one hour. I love these books, but that's just too much money for, 1. something (I know it purposely looks like that) that does not look like it took too much time to make, 2. something that takes you 30 minutes to read, 3 something that does not have many pages. Dog Man is the best, and I have read this one, it's about the adventures with his cat friends. I would definitely recommend that if you have not yet read the other books, I think you should before you read this one because you can get a better understanding of everything. I also have some pros and cons about the books for younger children, one of the cons is that they don't use "proper" language, but a pro about this book for younger children is that it does not take long to read, it's humorous, and it does not use a lot of big words, only one or two a book. Closing, I just don't think that this book is worth $10 dollars just for you to read it in 30 minutes. I am not trying to hate on Dog Man, y'all!! This review was thought out, and took time to be written, so please respect that. Follow me to get the inside scoop about books!! Bye y'all!! ☺

The Meltdown (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 13)

The Meltdown (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 13)

By Jeff Kinney

I love the wimpy kid books! They're all very funny, and they have great plots throughout the story. Here are some of my favorites in the series: Old school, Double down, Diary of a Wimpy kid, and Dog Days. I always read the Wimpy kid books in my spare time. But I recommend reading the books to yourself because tbh it doesn't have much words and when I was first introducing the book to my friend I read it aloud and my friend didn't like the book as much as she does now when she reads them to herself my other friends also agree that reading it to yourself makes the wimpy kid book seem better. But overall I love reading the wimpy kid books, the characters are very funny, I also like the movies, probably not as much as I like the books though because the books are sooooo good.

Supernova (Amulet #8)

Supernova (Amulet #8)

By Kazu Kibuishi

Title: Amulet Supernova Author: Kazu Kabuishi Genre: Shi-fi/Fantasy I would give this a 3/5 because they always end with a cliff hanger which I personally get angry about, whoever I do like how Emily takes off the elf kings mask! What's interesting to me is the fact that she has a kid. I wonder who his dad is or if she adopted him? I would recommend this book for 4th grade to 6th grade because when your in 6th grade it might be too easy for you. If you're in 3rd grade you may get scared of the events in this novel like when the elf kind has no mask on.

Will he keep the broken rabbit, or let it be restored to make another child happy? Bryce's sacrifice, in the face of his grief over his sister, is very touching. Finally, in the shop of the doll maker, Edward is unexpectedly discovered by someone who has always loved him. This story is talking about how only a rabbit doll can have love, and we should all love things surrounding us.

One Piece, Vol. 18: Ace Arrives

One Piece, Vol. 18: Ace Arrives

By Eiichiro Oda

this book introduces ace. Fire fist ace. He is trying to track down luffy but you find this out in vol. 17. Spoiler alert..... He is luffy's brother but that is not that much of a spoiler because even luffy knows this. He wanted to talk to luffy and give him a note. Ace tells everyone he is on a quest for black beard. He wants to defeat him. So this is a good way they introduce ace in the manga. But that is just a side detail. The real story is luffy and the straw hat pirates are hunting down crocodile to save alabasta the kingdom of sand. Along the way they meet with a lot of good characters in this book. This is a really good book. If you have read the other one piece books read this one.
