Raina Telgemeier’s #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning companion to Smile!

Raina can't wait to be a big sister. But once Amara is born, things aren't quite how she expected them to be. Amara is cute, but she's also a cranky, grouchy baby, and mostly prefers to play by herself. Their relationship doesn't improve much over the years, but when a baby brother enters the picture and later, something doesn't seem right between their parents, they realize they must figure out how to get along. They are sisters, after all.

Raina uses her signature humor and charm in both present-day narrative and perfectly placed flashbacks to tell the story of her relationship with her sister, which unfolds during the course of a road trip from their home in San Francisco to a family reunion in Colorado.

This book is a great book just like Raina's first book "Smile", although not as good, but still great and worth reading. I would reccomend it to 2-5 graders who enjoy true story graphic novels. Raina's experices always give a nice childhood sense so if your older and miss the bickering with siblings, long road trips and the begging for toys this is just the book for you. Even though there is a lot of tension sometimes is still a great book. I would definetly reccomend reading it and if you do I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

So awesome! Two sisters, Raina and Amara, have never gotten along really well. Their relationship unfolds during a road trip and they realize they must work together to make their family strong again.

This book was about a girl named Raina who just couldnt wait to be the best big sister. Then when her little sister was born stuff wasnt the same as she thoughted. Through out the book their relationship wasnt improving at all. Then afer all they figure it out , their sisters.
