This book is not so good. It almost has nothing to do with the original Harry Potter books. It is kind of weird, confusing, and the writing quality is not very good. All in all though, the plot is decent.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The play will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on July 30, 2016.
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places."

I agree with you, its has nothing to do with harry potter and it is weird
This book was great, it's a good read, but compared to the other HP books it's short.
I agree about the short part.
it was good but unrealistic. how did voldy have a child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this book is great but kinda a bummer its not really by Jk Rowling. love harry potter would recommend. go potterheads!
It is by J.K. Rowling and 2 others, but I agree with the great part!
I can not wait to rayed it one day I am going to borrow it from my brother if he does not read it soon.
awesome
I love anything related to harry potter, but that's probably the only reason that I bothered to actually read this. It honestly felt like it was a fan-fiction or something like that which really dissapoints me. But I guess not every book can be perfect, right? J.K Rowling has really lost her touch which makes me super sad. But once again, sometimes we need something completely horrible to make us really appreciate the good. It's just REALLY dissapointing that this is how things had to be. The book cursed me with it's terrible plot. (Pun intended)
It isn't as good as the others but it isn't the worst book ever
Also, the plot was pretty hard to follow, and a huge number of unlikely surprises kept hitting me. It was so weird.
