“Two-headed monsters, giant tentacles, angry demons – Lovecraft Middle School is great creepy fun!”
–Ransom Riggs, author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
This second novel in the Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series begins right where Professor Gargoyle ended. Seventh-grader Robert Arthur has discovered that two of his classmates are actually sinister snake-women in disguise. Even worse, his new middle school is full of “gates” to a terrifying alternate dimension – a haunted mansion full of strange spirits and monstrous beasts. For Robert to protect his teachers and classmates, he'll need to return to this haunted dimension with his best friends Glenn and Karina. Can they uncover the secrets of Lovecraft Middle School before it's too late?
The Slither Sisters features more bizarre beasts, more strange mysteries, and more adventure. It's perfect for readers ages 10 and up. Best of all, the cover features a state-of-the-art “morphing” photo portrait – so you can personally witness the sisters transforming into their slithering alter egos. You won't believe your eyes!

The Slither Sisters is the best book yet in the Lovecraft Middle School series. Professor Gargoyle was really good but this one is even better! Robert Arthur is back with his best friends; his old enemy Glenn Torkells, a ghost named Karina, and a two-headed rat named Pip and Squeak. They found out that the Price sister who mysteriously disappeared in the first book and came back are now monsters/snake people in disguise as both Sarah and Sylvia Price. All the monsters at the haunted mansion have hatched a plan to kidnap each and every seventh grader one student at a time and convert them into monsters and it's Robert Arthur and his friends job to stop them. The only question is. . . how? It's a outstanding book with lots of surprises on each page. The author's descriptions and illustrations help you make your own monsters in your mind. No matter how frightening the cover may seem, the book inside is amazing and not scary at all. My favorite part in the book is in the last chapter and it's counting down to it the whole book. I recommend this book to everyone who likes fantasy and suspense. I can't wait until the next book comes out!
It suonds like its horre and great.
In The Slither Sisters, the second book in the Tales of Lovecraft Middle School, Sarah Price and Howard Mergler are running for student council president. Robert joins the campaign to try and dampen Sarah’s chances of winning. But he’s finding it hard to compete against a demon that is promising cupcake Fridays. Robert doesn’t seem to stand a chance against Sarah until the debate, where he saves a teacher and a fellow candidate from a giant bird that came from a spell the librarians’ husband gave him. At the end Robert finds out a big surprise.
I really am enjoying this series, though i think the books are far too short. In this the main characters are the twins that went missing in the first book and Professor Gargoyle isn't even in it. It revolves around a student council election where Robert has to try and win in order for their school to be saved. You learn more about the different dimensions and that more of the faculty in the school take part in it. You learn about the twins and why they came back different. Over all it is a really good book, one whose last twist will make you beg to read the next book; Teacher's Pest!
In the second installment of the Lovecraft Middle School series, things are starting to get even weirder for Robert, Glenn, and Karina. Sarah and Sylvia Price have recently returned from being kidnapped. They say everything is fine, but in Lovecraft Middle School, nothing is ever as it seems. They discover Sarah and Sylvia have become monsters; and when Sarah starts to run for student council, Robert has to run against her to protect the school. Will Robert win the election? Will he make it out alive? Read this book to find out. With an unexpected twist at the end, this book does not disappoint. If you liked the first book of this series, you should definitely read The Slither Sisters.
so cool going to the book stare and buy the book if i find it
This is the second book in the "Tales from Lovecraft Middle School" sires called The Slither Sisters it has even more monsters and more action than book one. It is about Robert and how he has to protect his school by becoming student council president before Sarah Price a very popular girl (monster) does. Also, Sarah has a twin sister (monster) named Sylvia to help get more votes. All Robert has is a few friends but also Robert has something that might get him to win but will it? you will have to read this book to find out if Robert wins or if a monster will be Lovecraft Middle School's student council president! This book is full of illustrations and keeps you turning the pages!!
This is the second book in the Lovecraft Middle School Series. It was also a very fast read but I loved this book. In this book you can get even more in touch with the characters. Again every time something bad happened to a character I jumped but this time it was even more scary. One moment that I really got freaked out was when Howard turned but you will have to read the book to find out everything that happened. I am so excited for the third book to come out, it seems like a very good book. You should read this whole series!!!!
It looks so good. I didn't win the first one but i hope I get this one! i can't find it in libraries so I checked and it' not even out yet! Merry Christmas!
