Now a musical!

Matilda is a sweet, exceptional young girl, but her parents think she's just a nuisance. She expects school to be different but there she has to face Miss Trunchbull, a menacing, kid-hating headmistress. When Matilda is attacked by the Trunchbull she suddenly discovers she has a remarkable power with which to fight back. It'll take a superhuman genius to give Miss Trunchbull what she deserves and Matilda may be just the one to do it!

Here is Roald Dahl's original novel of a little girl with extraordinary powers. This much-loved story has recently been made into a wonderful new musical, adapted by Dennis Kelly with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.

It is about a girl who has bad parents that only care about the telivision. When she started school she had a wonderfull teacher that loved her but her princebull was the oppisite. she abused the children ! When Matilda got frustrauted because everything she did made her parents mad and same with her princeabull, she got mad and glared at a glass of water. Her dad came in and started screaming so she took all of her stress on the cup and it spilled! It was amazing!she was extremly smart after that. She just started school and she soon was ready for college! Her teacher supported her a lot.they had many asdventures together but you will only know what they did if you read the book.

This book is about a girl named Matilda that loves to read, but her parents and her brother always take away her books and tell her to watch TV,but she loves to read so she imagines that the TV explodes and it explodes and she goes to the library every day to read or gat new books

i have read this book and seen the movie and iI have to say like always the book is better than the movie. I would recomend this book but I would also watch the movie because i like to see the differences and there are always many. I wouldn't just watch the movie or just read the book because they are different. Ronald Dahl is an amazing author I read his "The Witches" and it's amazing just like all of his other books.

I think most people have watched this movie, but the book is so much better. You really get to know Matilda just like she is your best friend. If you like books that end in a positive way, then read this book.

The protagonist in this story shows how a child can leave an unloving and unsupportive family to find other adult role models who will be there for her.

This is a really good book. I love the way Matilda always believed in herself. I so recommend this book. I have read this like 2 times.

"Matilda" is a funny, heartwarming, and enjoyable novel. It is about a young yet extremely intelligent girl named Matilda who discovers a unique power - controlling objects with her mind. She attends her first year of school and loves it - however, the vulgar headmaster, Ms. Trunchbull, gets in her way. Will Matilda's powers help get rid of the horrid Ms. Trunchbull forever?

What i though about Mitilda the book was that it was a great book. What i liked about this book was that the author made it instresting insted of sayong like(the teacher is mean)it gave more detials like the teacher was so mean because she had a room with poky nails in the door and she would put kids in here.Mitilda discoverd that she had powers whwen her father got her mad and she looked at the door and it closes by its self and from there she would use them. Also the author is a great writer he makes book more intresting

This is an awesome book, when Matilda is little she is super smart then later on she has POWERS this is amazing to find out more read Matilda from Ronald Dahl.

This beautiful book is about a girl whose parents don't care about her. They don't bring her to school, so she goes to the library a lot., One day her real dad gets her so mad, when she looks at the TV, it breaks down. That's when she discovers her magical powers to move things (telekinesis).
