Now a musical!

Matilda is a sweet, exceptional young girl, but her parents think she's just a nuisance. She expects school to be different but there she has to face Miss Trunchbull, a menacing, kid-hating headmistress. When Matilda is attacked by the Trunchbull she suddenly discovers she has a remarkable power with which to fight back. It'll take a superhuman genius to give Miss Trunchbull what she deserves and Matilda may be just the one to do it!

Here is Roald Dahl's original novel of a little girl with extraordinary powers. This much-loved story has recently been made into a wonderful new musical, adapted by Dennis Kelly with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.

One of the best ROALD DAHL books. I loved Matilda's character and the book ending. Definitely a must read !

Matilda is a very good book its about a

I love this book.It is very interesting, and makes you want to read more and more.I would recommend this book to anyone. This book is about a girl, names Matilda. And her parents Mr and Mrs.Wormwood, don't care about her education, and prefer her watching TV instead of reading.Matilda loves reading very much.

I read the first chapter it was amazing

this book is lovely in every way. its so good and funny

i liked this book because it shows that kids are not always fibbing because Miss Honey even thought Matilda was very bright but her parents thought when ever she did something to show it she was not telling the truth but she really was very smart but everyone thought she was just a talkative brat and in reality she was a child prodigy

I liked this book because it tells you that kids are not always fibbing like adults think (no offense) but ya i like this book because Matilda was a very smart child but people just ignored her and told her to stop talking and i personally think that is unfair because she was more then a talkative brat like people thought she was so I am glad miss Honey gave her a chance to eventually see that she was a very intelligent child

I love this book because it is fun and fun and fun and I love it yeah yeah I love LOL it talks about a little girl who changes a teachers whole lif

Matilda is one of my fave's because she's super talented and is a genius!
