You think that the secret will be a big thing but nothing really happens around it and Gary duscribes things I think too much there really isn't any heart in it or fellings wise character development it's super boring I hated it after just a little bit but was forced to read it and I usually like all books I read.

Reading this in my class #AloudRead
This is a book about a boy named Brian who gets lost in the woods while trying to visit his father. The pilot of his plane goes into cardiac arrest and unfortunately dies. Brian survives the crash and survives in the wilderness for a long time waiting for help. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense, twist and turns around every corner, and the wild! This is one of my favorite books ever!

it is kinda sad at first but then it gets better!
amazing
I absolutely loved this book so much because it relates to me and my father. Me and my father go hunting and camping all the time! I loved all the action and all the suspense . I kept thinking to myself "Will Brian ever get rescued or will he die out in the wilderness?" I also loved how it reflects some of the events from the author, Gary Paulson's life. I would rate this book five out of five stars!
