Ignatius B. Grumply moves into the Victorian mansion at 43 Old Cemetery Road hoping to find some peace and quiet so he can crack a wicked case of writer’s block. But 43 Old Cemetery Road is already occupied by eleven-year-old Seymour, his cat Shadow, and an irritable ghost named Olive. It’s hard to say who is more outraged. But a grumpy old ghost just might inspire this grumpy old man—and the abandoned kid? Well, let's just say his last name's Hope.
Sisters Kate and M. Sarah Klise, the creators of the award-winning Regarding the . . . series, offer up this volume in a clever epistolary series told in letters, drawings, newspaper articles, a work-in-progress manuscript, and even an occasional tombstone engraving.

This book sounds and looks awesome I mean I love mysteries and this book cover is mysterious am enjoying it so far!Thank you for reading!
Sorry, but I completely disagree.. This was one of the best books I have ever read. You have to pay attention to the small details that solve the mystery. To me, it's a perfect mix of humor, suspense, and love. Let's see the storyline: A author falling apart named Ignatius B Grumply, finds an house to settle down, not letting anybody in his life. He's a complete mess, but when he meets Seymour and Olive, they help him open up. But then, Seymour is going to be sent away just when they were actually turning into a family, and Olive, the guardian of Seymour of the time is a ghost, and is unable to help. Everything was falling apart again, with robbers coming, and complete chaos, but all explained in LETTERS. You know how hard that is to manage? Hm? In 160 PAGES? And... you call that not a storyline. Even I can't explain it right now, how complicated, yet simple the storyline is. Try to read it again- it's worth it.
Oh, and that was @selina.
This book is mainly about a grumpy old man who just wants peace and quiet. So he moves into a mansion on Cemetery road. His peace and quiet doesn't last long with the Ghost Olive and Seymour and his cat.Ignatius (the grumpy old man) doesn't believe that there's really a ghost around, but there is one.Olive tried her best to help Mr. Grumply out,but he just wouldn't take the help.He thinks Olive is Seymour playing jokes on him.Mr.Grumply's assumptions start to make him loose Olive. This book was cool, but not for me.I do recommend it though.
I have not read it but it sounds promising
Boring! This book is only letters to a ghost named Oliver, a boy named Seymour, two men named E.Gadds, Ignatius B Grumply, and two women named Anita Sale and Paige Turner. All of these people talk to each other by sending letters. There was no storyline to make things interesting. This book is a boring book I`ve ever read.

This is a very funny book. It is about an author who hasn't written a book in 20 years, a 11 year old boy, a black cat, and an old ghost, all in one house.
