In this groundbreaking tour de force, Caldecott Medalist and bookmaking pioneer Brian Selznick sails into uncharted territory and takes readers on an awe-inspiring journey.

Ben and Rose secretly wish their lives were different. Ben longs for the father he has never known. Rose dreams of a mysterious actress whose life she chronicles in a scrapbook. When Ben discovers a puzzling clue in his mother's room and Rose reads an enticing headline in the newspaper, both children set out alone on desperate quests to find what they are missing.

Set fifty years apart, these two independent stories--Ben's told in words, Rose's in pictures--weave back and forth with mesmerizing symmetry. How they unfold and ultimately intertwine will surprise you, challenge you, and leave you breathless with wonder. Rich, complex, affecting, and beautiful--with over 460 pages of original artwork--Wonderstruckis a stunning achievement from a gifted artist and visionary.

I know the person who wrote this

I really enjoyed this book, I also liked the invention of hugo cabret... Anyways this was and interesting and unique book, even though it was like 600 pages, half the time were pictures, and the other half were words, so it was an okay balance... but I wished it had a little more words... I really liked how the author made Ben's and Rose's "adventure" kind of click and matched into this story. It was a fun, adventurous

this book was so interesting considring that it is mostly pictures that doesnt mean the pictures ruin the book the pictures make the book even better

loved it! I like having both pictures and words in a book

I like this book better than The Invention Of Hugo Cabret, mostly because it has more words. Kind of confusing, but pretty good.

This book is kind of hard to keep track of at first but then both Ben and Rose's stories connect and it makes a great book.

I really didnt like this book it was a very very booring book. I would not recommend it to anyone.
