I love this book because the character August is really brave. He also has lots of courage and he is a good sport to himself.

LOVE IT!!! 5 stars for it!!!
This is such a great book! It made me cry a few times. August Pullman is starting real school after being homeschooled his whole life. Read "Wonder" to explore what Auggie goes through. :'( It made me cry! Such a good book for anyone!

this book is the best book i ever read. i feel so bad for Auggie (augest) because he get's stared by his entire school, that is because he deformed. if i was him, i will rather stay in myroom all day instead of going to the school.
My daughter recommended this book to me for an easy summer read. It is very good as far as learning about students with disabilities (in this case, facial deformity).
It teaches you to not be someone your not just be your self and everything should be fine and don't judge people for who they are.
Love how this book is told from different character's perspectives.
Auggie "August" Pullman was born with a facial deformity that prevented him from going to school. Auggie has been home-schooled his whole life but this year, he's finally entering the 5th grade at Beecher Prep. But going to school for the first time comes with challenges that Auggie will need to face, like overpowering bullies and how to make friends. Can Auggie overcome the preconceived prejudices toward him? First off, let's talk about the characters. Auggie is probably the nicest main character that I have ever encountered, well, in books at least. I think that my favorite character would be Miranda, who used to be a really close friend of August's sister, Via or Olivia. She's thought as rebellious because she dyes her hair pink in the book, but she's still the same person the Via knew. This book was extremely upbeat and lighthearted. I cried at least once during the book because something happened, but I won't spoil it for you. The pacing was on-point as well as everything else in the book. I loved how the book was narrated through different perspectives like Miranda, Via, Justin or Via's boyfriend, Auggie of course, Summer, a nice girl that becomes friends with Auggie, and Jack, another one of Auggie's friends. I could reread this book over and over again, and I absolutely wouldn't get tired of it. I sincerely recommend this to everyone, whether you're 90 years old or 9 years old. ~ifeelbookish
i really loved this book. it made its way up to one of my favourite books. It was also a very touchy book. I even used this book for my school book project.
