Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.

The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.

I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.

August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.

"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

This book is about a kid named Auggie who has a deform face and for the first time he is going to public school and he is facing a lot of hard stuff from the students in the school but he made a few friend to help all year. This is the best book, it tell's about how one person can change with the help friends and family.

This book is so touching I almost cried I can really see the pore boy inside my head and what he's going throw the boy gets bullied and its just sad about what you see in your mind they put so much detail into it. But the boy never lets the bulling get to him for three days I just thought about that pore boy for years he wore a space helmet to cover his face. I REALLY recommend this book Wonder

My fourth graders loved this book!

This book was so incredibly touching. I thing it was probably one of the best books I have ever read in my life. I usually don't ever cry, I'm not very emotional, but this book, it just made me have a whole different perspective on the world and the way I treat people. I recommend this book to anyone- most reviews have been good, that's a sign that this book is completely amazing. I spent 5 hours in my room reading this, I read it 3 times in 5 hours, I loved it, out of 5, I would give it one million stars! Best book ever! I love you Auggie!
