This book is amazing! The journey of a broken girl getting her confidence and happiness back from her family she's never met and a good- hearted boy to change her life. You have to read this book.

Spoiler Alert! This book is AWESOME! This book is very different from others because the girl in the story keeps mentioning ways to make wishes. In this book, Charlie's Mother can't take care of her so she goes to a different family to live with until her Mom becomes responsible enough to take her back in. From the day she goes to a new family, she kept making wishes. And her goal was to make a wish every day, and so far she didn't miss a wish. Also, her Dad taught her how to make the wishes. In the story, Charlie meets a boy and a stray dog. She falls in love with the dog and decides to name him Wishbone. She tries to play with him, but he keeps running away. But with the help of her "Parents", she was able to make a trap for Wishbone. This book kind of makes me sad, but is a great book to read. I recommend this book for 2nd-4th grade. And also.... anyone!
