i like all the action in this book because it has you sitting on the edge of your chair. i wanted to keep reading it in class but i could not because it was time to go.i like this author so i am looking for other books by this author.

it was sad but i loved it.
I saw the movie and it was so sad! i read the book and i almost cried from this those little dogs i hope their happy.
OMG i saw the movie and cried my eyes out it is sooooooo sad. And this school year we havt to read the book.
But it was still really good.

This book is a heartwarming and emotional book that shows how much the love between a boy and his dogs really is. It also shows how much they are willing to do for each other. When your reading this, be prepared for a tear jerker- I had teary eyes at the end.
This is my favorite book on the face of the Earth!!!! It's about a boy who works & saves money for 2 years to buy 2 puppies that he names Little Ann and old Dan. He loves and cares for them soooooooooooooo much!! Then they win a hunting competition together too. But a few nights after the competition they go hunting and get attacked by a mountain lion and Old Dan ends up dying.The boy,[Billy] buries him. Then Little Ann goves up the will to live and dies a day after. A long time after all that happened Billy and his family are moving and billy wants to say goodbye to his dogs. When he gets there, there is a sacred red fern growing over Old Dan & Little Ann. :,]
It was one of the best books I have read in my entire life! and I recommend this book by Semaj
it was so sad but still my bus has and will always will have more drama than this book, any book to be specific.
Billy,Old Dan,and Little ann(a boy and his to dogs) A loving threesome, they ranged the dark hills and river bottoms of Cherokee country.Old Dan had the brawn, Little Ann had the brains -and billy had the wil to train them to be the finest hunting team in the valley.Glory and victory were coming to them, but sadness waited, too. And close by the stange and wonderful power thats only found. . . . Where the Red Fern Gorws!!!!!! I love this book sooooooo much I've read it 3 times if u like dogs our coon hunting READ THIS BOOK!
