THis book and movies amazing!!! loved both

You should read it it is a heart warming tale about a boy and his dogs there is action sadness much more it is by far my favorite book i have ever read

it's awesome though sad at the end. it takes place back then were almost everything was a nickle. also if you read it you should check out the movie too. i'm only giving it four because the ending was very sad and i didn't like it. if you read the book you would understand.

Really good! Recommend it

This is a wonderful book about a young boy and his adventures in the Ozarks. My gosh this is such a sad book about undying love, loyalty and "death in its saddest form". We read this in class and at the end of the book the tears came, by the end I had a puddle of tears on my desk. You need to read this book if you haven't.

i want to read this book so bad my sister said its sooo good and so did my teacher even my friend read it and really likes it

This book is a book that started out as a three star book and basically continued throughout, but the ending forced me to give it another star. I must say that it deserves all four. It is heart-warming, sad, and playful at the same time. This book made me widen my eyes in disbelief, cry, laugh, and cringe. It was a very emotional book! Even though it is a very old chapter book, it is still a wonderful book. It's so realistic, yet so... different. Wilson Rawls did the job!

This book is sad but it is really good
