I know a lot of people on here want to be writers - and I just want to say, you can do it! I've always wanted to become an author and publish my book (yes, self-publishing does count, but I've heard that being published by a big publishing company gives you more opportunities in marketing)! I might publish a book when I'm in high school or college (I've read about people who've done that, and their work is amazing).. um, so good luck, and I hope you never lose hope, because if you believe, you can become a really successful author :)

Happy new year, everyone!! Sorry I've been away for a few days. I was visiting my family for the holidays and was trying to avoid spending too much time online. I hope 2016 will be a great year for all of you. Do you have any resolutions? Mine are to keep writing new stories! I'm currently working on the sequel to WARREN THE 13TH, and it's almost done! I also want to write some other books for kids. What sort of stories would you like to see more of?
I like action mystery and fantasy! If you could write ones like that that would be amazing!!!

Hi egghead44! That sounds like a frustrating problem! My advise to you would be to just keep writing, and writing more. Even if you can't find an illustrator. Don't let that keep you down - just make more stories. One day you will find someone who is as passionate about illustrating as you are about writing. Just be patient, and keep focusing on your own work! Good luck!!

I try to get color but it doesn't work. Even when I started out, i had a black background. If I didn't have black it would be turquoise!
