LoL I LOVE THIS BOOK !
Nory goes to a special school to learn how to control her magic. Her problem was that she turned into a black cat-beaver creature called a bitten. She met other kids at the school who had problems with their magic too. Some of them didn't obey the rules and it was fun to imagine what it would be like to have those kinds of magical powers. I recommend this book for people who like to explore their imaginations in a crazy way.
Nory is sent to a special school for kids who can't control their magical powers. My favorite part is when she turns into a black cat - beaver which is called a Bitten and it is fun to imagine what that would be like. There's also other funny characters that don't obey the rules in magic school and then they all end up with good magic skills. I also liked the artwork on the front cover.
In this book, Elinor Boxwood Horace (Nory) applies to her father's school but fails to get in because the judges for the test decided that her magic was damaged. From then on, Nory's aunt takes Nory to her house and Nory goes to a UDM (Upside Down Magic) class at Dunwiddle Magic School. During the school year, Nory destroys her friendship with her first friend at Dunwiddle, but makes it up by having a terrific idea. Nory states, "If you can stop freezing things and I can stick to just regular animals, then we can transfer out of UDM. We can go to normal classes." Near the end of the book, Nory and her friend Elliot get tested and they pass with flying stars, but Principal Gonzalez thinks that there are other factors and he makes them stay in UDM for he thinks their teachers (Ms. Starr) has helped their magic get better. I would love to read the other book in this series.
Nory is a school girl who doesnt have the typical magic powers that the rest of her family has. Her dad is a headmaster at a private school but because her magic doesnt always work well, he doesnt allow her in to his school. She goes and lives with her aunt who sends her to a public magic school. There she meets other kids whose magic doesnt work like normal magicians and they learn to get along with their own flavor of magic without feeling like they are different.
Nory is a girl who is supposed to turn into animals but can only turn into animals that are messed up. Her friend Elliot is supposed to be able to make fire but can only make ice. Because of this they go to special classes with other people who can't control their magic. Together they try to get into normal classes but they are convinced by their teacher to stay until they can fully control their magic.
I really want this book.So far the sneak peek blew me away and I would give this book 5 stars so far because it has something to to with magic and the book has good sense of humor.
i loved this book so much. i think i loved it so much is because it has to do with magic and i love magic
I rate this book 4 star since I like magic and that stuff, but its kind of funny when the magic gets out of control. Also, I think the bat should be more determined and keep practicing until she gets it right.
