Tuesdays at Castle Glower are Princess Celie's favorite days. That's because on Tuesdays the castle adds a new room, a turret, or sometimes even an entire wing. No one ever knows what the castle will do next, and no one-other than Celie, that is-takes the time to map out the new additions. But when King and Queen Glower are ambushed and their fate is unknown, it's up to Celie, with her secret knowledge of the castle's never-ending twists and turns, to protect their home and save their kingdom. This delightful book from a fan- and bookseller-favorite kicks off a brand-new series sure to become a modern classic.

Celie's a princess living in a magical castle called 'Castle Glower'. Of course, her parents are King and Queen. Now, why is this 'TUESDAY's' at the Castle? Well, because on Tuesday's, the castle changes its floor plan, whether it be removing a room, adding a wing, etc. It's a good thing that Celie maps out all the changes, because the castle soon gets ambushed, and her mother and father, along with her oldest brother, all go missing. It's up to Celie to be able to save the kingdom, but will she do so in time?

This was a good fantasy book. It was about a castle that grew and was "alive". A girl knew the castle well and protect the castle till the end. When her parents went missing the castle was kind to her and helped solve the mystery of her parents' disappearance. Good book

I won this book from the freebie section. When I read the online summary and reviews, I was intrigued. When I read the actual book, I almost flipped at what amazing writing skills and imagination Jessica Day George owned. She made a fun book still have a complex and magical plot. I loved it! Each page revealed something more and more interesting than the previous. This kept me going, wanting to know what would happen to Princess Celie, king and queen, etc. I'm pretty sure that in about a 1,000 years from now, this book will become a classic as classical as Cinderella.

One of my favorite books EVER!!!

Cecile lives in a living castle. The castle seems to only like her. One day, Celie's Parents travel to see her older brother at the academy. Then disaster strikes! All of these random people move in to "Help" Rolf rule the kingdom, but some of the people have sinister means.

I love this book! Other books by this author are great as well!

I absolutely love this book! Other books by Jessica Day George are great as well!

This was an amazing book! It was suspenseful, funny, exciting, sad, and everything else that makes a book amazing! It really ropes you in and you'll never want to put it down, even after you finish it! You can't help but fall in love with the characters, and the castle will find it's special place in your heart. It's definitely one of the best books I've read!

This book was dull. If you like fantasy, especially the "happily ever after" stuff, than this is for you.

I do not think this book is dull at ALL.

Tuesdays at the Castle is about the young Princess Ceilie and her royal family. Tuesday's are Ceilie's favorite days because every Tuesday the castle adds a new room. Ceilie is one of the only people who can navigate through the castle's ever-changing corridors, and has been declared official mapmaker. But then while Ceilie's parents and her older brother are away a terrible accident happens, and the three royals are missing. Presumed dead, many Councilors and foreigners come to take up residence in the castle. Ceilie's older brother Rolf is thrust into the position of an immediate heir. But Ceilie and her siblings suspect a dangerous plot. It is up to Ceilie and the castle to save their family and their home. This book was filled with suspense and secrets, alone with humor at times. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! I recommend this book for the middle grade, around ages 10-14. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
