This wonderfully detailed book by Kate DiCamillo is a sure bet for realistic fiction readers. The book starts out when Rob Horton encounters a tiger. Rob has always been bullied. Later in the book, we meet Sistine. Then, we find out that Rob has a rash on his leg that won't go away. The principal suspends him from school. This rash isn't just any old rash. This rash represents something big. Rob also has this imaginary suitcase. This suitcase is very important to the story because as the book progresses, you'll find out just how important these two symbols are. This book is AMAZING!
