This book is a good book I think this because this is talking about a girl named Moe and and she and her mother are swept away by a hurricane. Moe is adopted and she is going to go on a journey to find her unwashed mother. This is such a good mystery book. You should read it if you have not.

Very fun book, It was about a girl named Moses(Mo) and she was found 11 years ago after a hurricane in the river, and a man named Colonel saves her. So they take her in and they are a family. Mo lives an ok life, but she always is trying to find her real parents.But a lawyer comes and there is a confrontation about murder, so Mo and her best friend set out to save her precious family. family.
Moses (Mo) Labeau normally does normal things. She goes to school,fishes,and helps run her adopted parents' diner. she is acting as a detective to locate her upstream mother, who was separated from Mo in a hurricane. soon, Jesse Tatam, a man who nobody liked, shows up dead. You will love this awesome mystery!

But when a lawman comes to the cafe to ask about a local murder, Mo and her friend Dale Johnson,( the third) investigate the crime and must do everything they can to save Mo's only family. But this book is more about crime saving, it's about what family truly means to everyone.
I liked this book for many reasons. One reason was that it was so fast paced it kept me reading. I just could not wait to find out what was going to happen next.
This book is one of the best books I have read. Full of love, humor, and action, this story will keep you up on your toes. I highly recommend this book to 8 year olds to 12 year olds. I got this book from my book fair and I've been re-reading it ever since. After your done this book I highly recommend Sheila Turnage's sequel to Three Times Lucky. It's called Ghosts at Tupelo Landing. Enjoy!
