happypug12, hera took away percys memory so she might be able to create the 7 demigods who could undertake the quest that would stop the end of the world. She switched two powerful demigod leaders of the two camps, Percy and Jason, so that the camps would join forces. Taking Percy’s memory away, as well as Jason’s, was key, because if Percy had his memory he would remember who did what to him, and would be able to find his way back.

So Percy doesn't remember anything? What about Posiden?

I would've given it a full five star, but in one of the beginning chapter told from Frank's point of view, it talked about not caring about the Chinese and China. That very much insults my culture. But besides that, Rick Riordan has written the bast book ever in my opinion.

rick riordan is a must read for everyone! The humor and facts balance perfectly! Also, I am A HUGE riordan fan!

I read every single book by Rick Riordan. AND IVE LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE! Great book! Riordan balances funny, scary, suspense, and serious! YOU MUST READ HIS BOOKS! Believe me, I am a total BOOKWORM!

I loved it and I was very hesitant to try it cause my friend was like, 'hey, willows, that's Percy.' I didn't want Percy to be in it really and wanted it to be Jason, Piper, and Leo's story and not Percy's and now I think Percy was a great addition.

Yes!!! i can't even begin to explain anything about this book! It is amazing! i don't want to give a basic summuary of these books because then it would be a five page essay, and it still wouldn't fit everything!

This is hilarious but emotional at the same time, you know? Most books don't have great beginnings, but Rick Riordan has a gift.

I can not imagine the expression on my face when I finished this book. It was awesome! It also ended with a cliff hanger.

i'm a total PJO and HOO Fan-girl. And ya' know what. I don't care. I've read all of these books at least 3 times.
