For generations and generations, the women of Grunhilda’s family have stirred up trouble in a big, black pot. Grunhilda inherits her famous ancestors’ recipes and cauldron, but no one believes in magic anymore. Despite the fact that Grunhilda’s only useful skill is cooking up potfuls of foul brew, she finds a job listing that might suit her: lunch lady. She delights in scaring the kids until she meets Madison, a girl with thick glasses and unfinished homework who doesn’t fit in. The two outsiders recognize each other. Madison needs help at school and at home, but helping people goes against everything Grunhilda’s believes in as a witch! Will this girl be able to thaw the Lunch Witch’s icy heart? Or will Grunhilda turn her back on a kindred spirit?

This book was about a witch who was trying to escape torture from her ancestors. She's supposed to be bad, but she can't help the feeling that doing bad is, well, bad. Then she accidentally turns a girl into a frog. She gets everything she needs for the spell and keeps her ancestors away. It's a pretty disgusting comic book. I do not recommend it.

charlie charlie

it was a asome revew

the book cover jumped right out at me i want to read it soooo bad

Grunhilda is a witch who takes up the job of being the lunch lady, until she meets Madison, a young girl who'd be able to "thaw the Lunch Witch's icy heart."

If your looking for something out of the ordinary (or maybe your mother didn't pack you a lunch) check out this hilarious graphic novel. Grunhilda, a witch out of work (people just don't believe in magic like they used to), takes a job as a lunch lady. Everything is going fine until Madison discovers her secret and threatens to expose her. Beautiful black humor and plenty of awkwardness to go around. If you want a good story, you won't go hungry.

I love lunch witch because sometimes I think MY lunch lady is like her. Thank for reading my review. p.s please put like!!!!!!!!

no offense but doesn't the lunch witch look kind of fat. I would not recommend this book to anyone. No offense though to Deb Lucke

I did not like this book. It was not the kind of book I like to read. It was a comic about a witch. It had weird pictures and other stuff I didn't like. I do not recommend this book. But that's just me.

It is really funny... And I liked how she turned nice in the end... Though seriously?! LEECHES to make you nice?!
