For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King.

Fourth-grader Evan Treski is people-smart. He’s good at talking with people, even grownups. His younger sister, Jessie, on the other hand, is math-smart, but not especially good with people. So when the siblings’ lemonade stand war begins, there really is no telling who will win—or even if their fight will ever end. Brimming with savvy marketing tips for making money at any business, definitions of business terms, charts, diagrams, and even math problems, this fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel subtly explores how arguments can escalate beyond anyone’s intent.

I thought this book showed the bond of younger sibling, like how sometimes they get along well and other times they want to ignore each other.

Evan is a competitive person. He and his sister, Jessica will compete to see who can sell the most lemonade. Winner takes all the money. Who will win? Find out in, "The Lemonade War"

thought this book would help me with my own lemonade stand. it was a fun book to read but my mom said i couldnt go to war with my brother or the neighbors. both opened lemonade stands after i did. i was first i should have been able to at least advertise but my mom wouldnt let me start a facebook campagine

Who doesn't lemonade? :) I really enjoyed reading this book over this summer. The book was written from a boys point of view and then a girls point of view. Each side trying to figure out how to make the most money. I recommend this book. It's a good read.

I liked the lemonade war. it was OK. My class read it together. It was long though so it took a long time but we got through it.

Two siblings, Jessie and Evan, have a lemonade war to see who can sell the most lemonade before school starts. The battleground heats up, and there really is no telling who will win. I loved reading this book and I thought it was very fast paced and exciting. We also did activities in school to help us understand the book better.

this book is very funny and it is easy just to pick it up halfway through the summer and read it when you feel like it.

This is an awesome book about siblings and rivalry. Evan Treski is the older brother. Jessie Treski is the smart younger sister that will be skipping a grade. When Evan finds out that Jessie is going to be in the same class as himself, he starts pestering Jessie. When no one thinks things could ever get worse, the angry siblings agree to have a lemonade war to see who can make the most money. Winner takes it all. The ending is very nice and non-chaotic like the sibling's lemonade war.
