I haven't read the series yet but i hear The Hunger Games is an award winning book and movie. It's true.

i love this book
the 3rd book is not as good as the rest of the books but the first and second are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this series is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen. In the "future" a place called the capital rules all of North America. Instead of states there are districts and each district does something to help the capital in some way.Katniss lives in district 12, which is a coal mining district. each year there is something called the hunger games. the hunger games in when a girl and a boy from the ages of 12-18 from each district fight to the death.the last person alive win and gets food and money. when katnis' sister gets chosen katniss volenters to basicly get killed. You see district 12 does not always win acually there is only one person that won the hunger games in katniss' district. When katniss gets to the capital to compete in the hunger games she finds out that the boy that is in her district has a crush on her. so blah blah blah... she wins the hunger games and then there is something called the quarter quell. the quarter quell is every 25 years and it was the 74th hunger games so quarter quell time. the quarter quell is a special hunger games and instead of the regular hunger games there is something different. The quarter quell for the 50th hunger games was x2 of the regular 24 people ( which is 48 people) well that year there was only people that already won the hunger games. so katniss gets to do the hun ger games again because there are no other girl people that won. and yadda yadda yadda she escaps and all of the districs revolt and its chaos the last book is very sad well i hope i didn't spoil the books for you but if you watch the movies thaT are already out you can guess wat is is going to be about i didnt spoil the last book for you its sad though:-( theses books are so good i loved reading them i hope you will too :-)

i love this book and the movie is speechless!
I wont to read this book because my friends say it is really great. Suzanne Collins is a great auther and i would like to read her books. If u like this book leave a coment to tell me if i shoud read this book or not,
