This book is scary full of revenge and is just awesomely grusome. The ghost you see on tv is definetly NOT the one you will image when you read it on the pages. Every turn full of excitment so it won't stop.

it not gruesome, but I do agree with you.
Hahn is definitely one of my favorite authors. Hands down. If she were a sales person, she could just scream, " Monday, Monday Monday, new book coming out! I'll give you the whole seat but you only need the edge. It is a real page turner.
I read this book and it was amazing! I spent 1 1/2 days reading that!!! It was creepy and fun! It was mostly sad!!! That book was amazing!! I hpoe you read it one day too.

i read this book and sophia is really mean and she wants her bother james to die in her places. and sophia puts her bother on the roof so floence goes on the roof to save james and sophia dies again well sophia is a ghost she died because her thats why wants to kill her bother when bother dies sophia came back to life.
This book is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I <3 it and u probably will 2! If u <3 ghost stories and Mary Downing Hahn (author of this book) then get ready to sit at the edge of ur chair and read!!! This suspenseful story is great for mystery & ghost readers!!!! And beleive me when I say that a book is good because the only books that I read r ghost stories!!!

This book is the best book I havve ever read! If you like Ghost stories you should totally read this book! It is about a girl named Flourence who is an Orphan who moves to live with her Uncle and Aunt because her mom and Dad died when a boat sunk. Her aunt is extremly mean to her. And her Uncle is the one who is the only one who is nice to her. She has two couisins James and Sophia. Sophia died in a terrible fall of the roof of the house. James is sickly and is always in his room. Flourence thinks that Sophia still haunts the house when she always feels someone following her. Read This book to find out what happens next! This story will make you want to stay in bed under the covers with a flashlight up all night!
