In a discontent kingdom, civil war is brewing. To unify the divided people, Conner, a nobleman of the court, devises a cunning plan to find an impersonator of the king's long-lost son and install him as a puppet prince. Four orphans are recruited to compete for the role, including a defiant boy named Sage. Sage knows that Conner's motives are more than questionable, yet his life balances on a sword's point -- he must be chosen to play the prince or he will certainly be killed. But Sage's rivals have their own agendas as well.

As Sage moves from a rundown orphanage to Conner's sumptuous palace, layer upon layer of treachery and deceit unfold, until finally, a truth is revealed that, in the end, may very well prove more dangerous than all of the lies taken together.

An extraordinary adventure filled with danger and action, lies and deadly truths that will have readers clinging to the edge of their seats.

This is an amazing book about the story of how because his city is about to corrupt into a civil war, The greedy Conor is going to try and pull in a fake prince when everyone is in chaos. Read this book to find out if he succeeds or not.

I thought The False Prince by Jennifer A. Neilson was a wonderful book that is full of mystery and suspense. This story is about how a prince goes missing and everyone thinks he is dead, but there is a man named Connor who finds orphan boys and trains them to be the False Prince. The boys are all competing for the spot of royalty.

This book is really good I totally love it. Its great and I think that it was kind of weird at first but now its just terrific and weird ho Saige is the real prince. :)

This book is well written but in the end it can be a little confusing. I recommend this book to people who like books a little more mature.

This book is really good. Sage gets picked out of an orphanage by a man named Conner, along with three other boys, Tobias, Rhoden and Ladimer. They must all compete to become an imposter of prince Jaren, a dead prince.

Our class read it and it was a good book. I can't wait till the 3rd book comes out.

OK our class read it. BEST BOOK IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should really read this book. It's really interesting. The title shouldn't really be called The False Prince, since Sage isn't really Sage, he's Jaron.
