A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

This is a great book with many twists and turns. A close friend of mine told me how good it was, and she was right! ;)

I like this book because it has to do with lots of adventure. I have always loved adventure books, and it has many cliff hangers. So I must read more. Clay has never wanted to fight. He always wants to try to be friends with even the enemy. What haunts him is what he did when he was the first dragonet to hatch. He started to attack his fellow team members while they were still in their eggs.

I loved the way you told people about this book!

Hi people!! So, in this book, It was about these , 5 dragonets that were raised in a cave. They were stolen when they were born, as the Dragons of Destiny, getting to choose who was going to be the new SandDragon Queen. (I'm not sure if it is called SandDragon.... It's like SandWings or something.) Continuing. Well, one day, the dragonets, (Tsunami, the water dragon, Clay, the Mud dragon, Glory, the rain dragon, Sunny, the desert-y dragon, and Starflight, the supposed most "powerful" breed, a NightWing.) They were mistreated by the dragons taking care of them, so they decided to escape. By doing so, An ally of one of the queens, Scarlet one of the Dragon Queens captures them, and makes them fight in a tornament... Against their friends. This book is an quick-paced, fun, and suprising book I loved. Please tell me if my reviews should be shorter, and follow me. Thank you!

I got this book as a barnes and noble summer reading log prize and it was pretty good, can't wait to read the next four.

This is a great book!! Clay and 4 other dragonets are prophesied to save their world from a huge war! Can Clay and his friends do it? You'll have to read "Wings of Fire" series to find out!

LET ME READ BOOK FIVE!!!! I really want book five book four revealed so much that I need to find out if they can when its not real!!!!!! They probably can but it was so shocking when he said it wasn't real, like a slap in the face from my best friend. maybe I should say all this stuff on the other book....
