Four children have been chosen to compete in a national competition to find the tastiest confection in the country. Who will invent a candy more delicious than the Oozing Crunchorama or the Neon Lightning Chew?

Logan, the Candymaker's son, who can detect the color of chocolate by touch alone?

Miles, the boy who is allergic to merry-go-rounds and the color pink?

Daisy, the cheerful girl who can lift a fifty-pound lump of taffy like it's a feather?

Or Philip, the suit-and-tie wearing boy who's always scribbling in a secret notebook?

This sweet, charming, and cleverly crafted story, told from each contestant's perspective, is filled with mystery, friendship, and juicy revelations.

Logan reminds me of August Pullman, as they both are "different". Not saying that in a mean way.

This is a thrilling adventure with sweet surprises. Logan, Miles, Daisy, and Philip are four contestants in a candy making contest. I enjoyed how all the contestants came together to help make one candy, the Harmonicandy. It is a candy harmonica that plays real music! Harmonicandy wins the contest!

This book was amazing. It had many unexpected plot twists and it showed four kids perspectives on the same thing. The kids are participating in a candy-making contest and the winner will win the magnificent candy factory! This book was very descriptive and it made my mouth water!

A mouth-watering book by one of my favorite authors, Wendy Mass, is a tale about four children that have been chosen to compete in a national competition to find the tastiest confection in the country. Who will invent a candy more delicious than the Oozing Crunchorama or the Neon Lightning Chew? The characters are Logan, the Candymaker's son, who can detect the color of chocolate by touch alone?, Miles, the boy who is allergic to merry-go-rounds and the color pink?, Daisey, the cheerful girl who can lift a fifty-pound lump of taffy like it's a feather?, Or Philip, the suit-and-tie wearing boy who's always scribbling in a secret notebook? This sweet, charming, and cleverly crafted story, told from each contestant's perspective, is filled with mystery, friendship, and juicy revelations.

I love this book so much. Each chapters are told in a different perspective: Logan(candy maker's son), Daisy(the spy), Philip(the guy who he got "kicked out" of the factory), and Miles(the unique guy who know interesting facts). It's about four contestants competing people all around the world to make the most bet candy. They all have unique types of emotions, it's hard to believe they're friends. They become true friends at the end of the story. It's full of surprises and friendship. I recommend this book to everyone.

I decided to read this book because my neighbor told me it was great. Even though I am only half way through it is a great book.

The Candymakers is a book about 4 contestants trying to make the worlds best candy. Each character gets to tell the story from his/her point of view. I loved the mysteries that you got to learn about and solve.

I loved this book so so so so so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a great realistic fiction story. It is about four (4) kids who did the best entries for competing against kids to make a new candy. I think this book is meant for both boys and girls because it has four perspectives, three for boys ( Logan, Philip, and Miles ) and one for the girl ( Daisy ). I think the message in tis story is ''Work together ''. I hope you like it!!!!!!!!!!!!
