This is how I imagine the end of BoO: Percy and Annabeth stand. They are both battle torn and weary. A shadow appears behind Annabeth. Octavian plunges a dagger into Annabeth's skull(gory but predictable) and she crumples to the ground. Annabeth's head drips blood and Gaea awakes. Then all of the Seven die. Sad, but it could happen.

This book is the best in the series. The author explores all seven protagonists by developing their personalities and back stories more deeply. This lets readers get more involved in their stories and adventures. I haven't read another book to match this one yet.
Finally got it, read it, and loved it! The end had a kinda weird twist, and I wish it could have kept going. last year, I kinda got addicted to the greek mythology, then I read the Kane Chronicles, and got addicted to that too. Rick Riordan just tells the story in a way that makes everything fun. See ya on Asgard!!!

the first series is Percy Jackson. you can read it so this series makes more sence
just plain epic! you're going to want to read the other books in the series though.

I decided to read this series when I read the Percy Jackson series.After reading the House of Hades,the wait for the next book, left me dissapointed. This is my 2nd favorite book for I didn't like the end.
It was one of the greatest books EVER! I'm sad that the series is over, but at least all of the HoO fangirls (and fanboys) can anticipate the new Magnus Chase series!
