I love love love love this book! It wasn't the way I wanted it to end, (Percy instead of Leo) but it was still my favorite of this series. I flipped to the last page before finishing it and had the biggest fangirl moment ever. But when I read the whole thing in order, I cried. I will miss these guys so much.

the lightning thief was the very first Percy Jackson book about Percy and his friends. This new heroes of olympus series added some characters. It's an amazing series, you should totally read and get it for your friend! No spoilers ;)

@pipermc11 Lord Poseidon is also named as the Stormbringer so definitely Percy can be the "storm" alone. I think it was mentioned by Lord Hephaestus in the book series Percy Jackson & the Olympians "Battle of the Labyrinth". You can check if you want.
