BFG is a beautiful tale about a little girl named Sophie who lives in an orphanage in England. As it was time to go to sleep, she saw a huge figure walking down the streets. The giant had a large trumpet and as he realized that the little girl had seen him, he kidnapped Sophie and wrapped her in a blanket. She was taken to Giant Country and the giant introduces himself, to be known as the BFG, or the Big Friendly Giant. He explains that most giants eat children and people, but luckily for Sophia, the BFG doesn't eat children. However, he tells her that she cannot leave Giant Country, in fear of her spreading word about giants. Sophie learns that he had a giant trumpet with him to give good dreams to the people and a net to catch dreams .Instead of eating people, the BFG eats snozzcumbers, which are long pickles that taste horrible. To save the children of England, (who are in danger of being eaten) the BFG gave a dreaam to the queen of England that children were being eaten and Soohie informed her about the situation and introduced her to the giant. The queen soon orders the military to capture all the giants around the world. In the end, the giants were captured, the ruckus was over, and the little girl and the giant were best friends, no matter what difference in size.

This is such a great book! This book has influenced my life ever since I was a child, with my mom reading this book. She read the phrase: "Right or left, and then ever since she's said something to me, she's always been like "Right or Left? at the end. If you don't read this book, you are missing out on a lot of fun. This book is about the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), he lived with these terrible other giants, but he is the one friendly giant. He picks up this girl, named Sophie from her orphanage, and together they go on a journey, a journey that'll have you on your tiptoes, reading this book. I enjoyed it, and so will you!

That' a amazing review. I really liked how you talked about the book having a influence on you! I felt like I was in your shoes!

This is a really good book. It is hilarious because the BFG talks funny. He makes up and mixes up words. I particularly like the chapter about Frobscottle and Whizpoppers.
