Stargirl is a book about a girl called Susan aka Stargirl. Stargirl is a 10th grader who was homeschooled until she went to MAHS. This book was narrated by Leo, 11th grader. Stargirl is not a normal girl, at least people in MAHS don't think that she is normal. Hillari Kimble started to spread rumors around the school about Stargirl. After that, all the people started to ignore Stargirl. Hillari doesn't want Stargirl to become famous. Leo found out that he is in love with Stargirl, so they started a relationship. People also ignored Leo, too, for hanging out with her. My favorite character is Stargirl because she is herself and won't change herself to be popular. I couldn't relate to anyone in this book because I don't have the same experience and I don't know anyone like any character in this book. My favorite part of the book is when Stargirl took Leo to the magical place where they just sat and relax. It is my favorite part because the author describes how hard it is to relax and be a part of nature also what Leo's body feel. I think this book is nice, but not the best. The story is interesting because Leo is the only one who is caring about Stargirl and the author showed how Leo solves this problem. My only recommendation is to make the ending more different. I think the ending of this book is too easy to guess.

I was looking at lydia_swim's books and i saw a book called Magic Under Glass. I looked it up in the DOGO news books tab and I decided to look at the comments to see how people liked it. But i saw a book called Stargirl. It seemed interesting, so I clicked on it. It sounds like a very good book. I hope I am able to read it at some point. : )

The book "stargirl" was narrated by Leo a 11th grader, in this the story main character is a girl called Stargirl, she goes to Mica High School. Before she went to mica high school she was homeschooled. She isn't a normal girl, she have hobbies such as singing happy birthday to random people and remembering people birthdays. In the beginning Stargirl and leo had a relationship, but as they got closer, people start ignoring them, because of that Leo had to decide if she want to stay with Stargirl or not. Something I really liked about the story is how the author make a situation that can actually happen's in really life, in other story some author make up situation that can rarely happens. Something that I think the author should improve on is organizing the story, I kind of find the beginning of the story quite boring. Something that I could relate to the book is before when someone was get bullied, I can decide to either help him but then get accused for helping him or I could just be a bystander and let that happen,

Stargirl always doing things that people won't do it. She always is special in her class. Hillari Kimble hate her very much, because Hillari Kimble wants to be popular in the school. Hillari Kimble is a girl in MAHS. Her boyfriend is called Wayne Parr and she want to be popular. A man called Leo, He and Kevin create Hotseat in the school, and Hotseat is a television program. Leo is friendly and kind.he meets Stargirl in class. He wants to look more things about her, because she is strange and weird. He ask Archie for help, Archie is a man who living in a house with many bones. He knows something about Stergirl before. He tells something about Stargirl to Leo. Leo and Stargirl getting closer and closer. After a few month, Leo and Stargirl is lover now. Leo told Stargirl that she has to change. Leo tell Stargirl how to change, a few day ago she turns to Susan, but something happened she turns back to Stargirl. Last, their all graduate, people talk about stargirl and her things. She will not be forgotten. I think my favourite character is Stargirl, because she will not be affected. She do things what she want. I think Stargirl, Leo, Hillari, Archie, Dori and Susan were the main characters in this book. Hillari wants to be popular, but Stargirl is more popular in school. I think this is Hillari's problem. My favourite part in the story is when Leo and Stargirl were kissing at the street. If I can change something, I will change the end, I will let Stargirl coming back to MAHS and continued her crazy things.

The author, Jerry Spinelli writes the story of Stargirl in Leo Borlocks perspective. The main character of this book, Stargirl Caraway wants to be herself, yet gets rejected by society. People in school ignore her, but she doesn’t seem to notice. When Leo tells her the truth,she changes. I think Stargirl being herself is not necessary a bad thing, but she wants to fit in with other people in the school. Stargirl is just an ordinary person, being herself. When other people are being and acting like the people in their school. I think when people are trying to fit in the society, we as the people around him/her should encourage them or tell them in a positive way that they should be more part of this “group”.
I think this story was very entertaining and interesting. For example, Stargirl is this girl that is different from the other people at her school. She does all sorts of different things from other people like singing happy birthdays to people during lunch while playing her ukelele, and also brings her pet rat Cinnamon to school. The author made the enchanted place Stargirl goes to sound very mysterious. At the end of the book, It also sounded very persuasive because it made me want to know what happened next.
This story is about a girl who is not like any one else in her school. She wears old dresses to school! Stargirl give her self a nick name call stargirl, she was popular with all the students in school. But for some reason people started going against her. The boy Leo had falls in love with Stargirl, and also becomes an outcast when he takes Stargirl as a girl friend. Leo thought that being friend with stargirl is kind of embarrass. So he ignore Stargirl for a while, but then they come back together again, and solve more problem together.
