Raina Telgemeier’s #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning companion to Smile!

Raina can't wait to be a big sister. But once Amara is born, things aren't quite how she expected them to be. Amara is cute, but she's also a cranky, grouchy baby, and mostly prefers to play by herself. Their relationship doesn't improve much over the years, but when a baby brother enters the picture and later, something doesn't seem right between their parents, they realize they must figure out how to get along. They are sisters, after all.

Raina uses her signature humor and charm in both present-day narrative and perfectly placed flashbacks to tell the story of her relationship with her sister, which unfolds during the course of a road trip from their home in San Francisco to a family reunion in Colorado.

Rania can't wait to be a big sister. Once Amara is born, things aren't quite how she expected them to be. This book makes me think of me and my sister. I love this book!

This one was also funny. I enjoy this author a lot. Her books are funny. I usually end up staying up late to read them over and over again.

Awesome book! Raina always asked for a sister. Finally, she got one. Sadly, she got a big sister that is always mean! The sister Amara. Amara was so mean! She loved to draw though. I've read this book many times. It's a very good comic book. I would rate it five stars because there is so much action inside the story!

I love this book it is like me and my sister

Raina wanted a sister but when Amara came she was rethinking her choice. Now they have to go on a road trip. Can Raina stand Amara? Especially during a road trip? Worst of all, Amara’s pet snake is stuck in the front seat. Will Raina enjoy the road trip now?

This book was about 2 sisters that fight all the time , Raina and Amara, That are going on a car trip to visit there cousin. And on there way back when the car brakes down and Amara and Raina become closer. I would recommed this to grade 3rd-7th.

These sisters have never bonded - ever. The sole thing they have in common is a passion for art, which doesn't really help to form the sister bonding. However there could be a chance to change this when the family (Raina, Amara, Mom, and Will) takes a road trip, passing many different states, experiencing a variety of cultures, and enjoying rare scenic views, all in the effort to attend a family reunion. In the many struggles they encounter, having a snake trapped in their van, parents that don't seem to get along with each other, and having their car towed, will these sisters be forced to muster all the affection and love they have for each other, or continue quarreling in vain? Join Raina and Amara on this adventure, based off a true story that will make you laugh, cry, and never put the book down, as I certainly couldn't until I devoured every single page.

I've read Sisters soo many times that I think I should've memorized it by now! This is the perfect sequel to Smile, but it focuses more on Raina's relationship with her cynical younger sister. (Cynical equals awesome in my opinion) The Telgemeier family takes a road trip to visit their family across the country, and the sisters fight and argue the entire time (as normal) but learn in the end that they should appreciate each other more, even though their personalities clash. I loved this book, and it was highly interesting. I would recommend it to anyone ages 10+ and up.

Sisters is a CUTE book about the sisters! I love how they go on a road trip, and how they are nicer to each other in the end, and the older sister takes off her headphones to listen to her sister talking ( for about the first time!)
