This book was amazing. It was about an girl named Annmarie who has a best friend, Ellen, who is an Jew. Ellen has to pretend to be Annmarie's sister, while her parents are getting sent away to a safer place. When I was smaller, I didn't get the book that much, but now, it is AMAZING. I recommend this book to 3rd-6th graders.

Number the Stars is a great book that always leaves you wanting to read more. It is about a girl named Annemarie who helps her friend ellen and her family escape from the Nazis during the Holocaust. I would recomend this book for kids in grades 3-5. I was glad that I read Number the Stars!

Number the stars is a book about a girl named Annamarie who helped her best friend escape. Ellen was the girl she helped and they also helped a lot of other Jews and some of them were family. The book is very suspensful in some parts of the book. I think this is one of the best books i ever read and i hope you read it to.
