He was named "Sham" for the sun, this golden red stallion born in the Sultan of Morocco's stone stables. Upon his heel was a small white spot, the symbol of speed. But on his chest was the symbol of misfortune. Although he was as swift as the desert winds, Sham's proud pedigree would be scorned all his life by cruel masters and owners.

This is the classic story of Sham and his friend, the stable boy Agba. Their adventures take them from the sands of the Sahara to the royal courts of France and, finally, to the green pastures and stately homes of England. For Sham was the renowned "Godolphin Arabian" whose blood flows through the veins of almost every superior Thoroughbred. Sham's speed--like his story--has become legendary.

Agba, a young horse-boy who was very fond of horses. Who is unable to say any words at all. His stallion, Sham which meaning "sun" in Arabic because of Sham's emblem of circle which shaped like sun. Unlike any other horses, Sham was little but with strong legs and shining coat. Exciting uprising in the book like that Sham had met a mare, Roxana, had 3 colts, Lach, Cades, and Regulus. And Sham is also well-known by his another name of Godolphins Arabian. - Happy Reading!

A torching story of a boy and his horse. A young stable boy in Africa is in charge of taking care of a foal. The foal has both a white spot on his heal (a sign of good luck and swiftness) and a symbol of misfortune on his chest. This story is of the young boy (named Abga) who is mute, and his horse (who is named sham). A king calls for six stable boys and their horses to give as a gift to the king of France. Abga is one of the six. He goes there hoping that sham’s talents can be seen. When he arrives, he is treated almost the opposite of what he hopes. Will sham’s talents ever be recognized?

This is a wonderful story about the journey of a boy and his horse. Agba, the stable boy, is confident that his horse Sham is the fastest in all the land. That could be true, but he never gets to show it. So when the emperor calls for ten of the finest horses to send to another country, Agba thinks that this is Sham's chance to show how great he is. But when they arrive, it doesn't go exactly how Agba pictured it, and no one seems to recognize how great Sham really is. People always seem to put Agba and Sham aside and no one is treating them how they should be treated. The chance to show Sham's true colors finally comes in the end, but the journey before this chance is where the story is really told.

It is a good book so far. I started it monday! Hope you will like it to.
