Sophie Foster, a normal 12 year old high school senior who reads minds. Unable to share the ability with anyone, Sophie thought she would have to cope with it for a lifetime. The day she met Fitz, that all changed. Sophie finds out that she is actually an elf and has the ability to do all sort of amazing things with her mind besides telepathic abilities . Now she discover a new world filled with elves who have amazing abilities just like her . However Sophie is different; she can do all sorts of things that normally take years to learn without training. Struggling to fit in to her lifestyle, Sophie is mistified by the ways of elves which are so different than those humans. Moreover she has found several memories in her mind that aren't hers. Is she being controlled by another force, or is there more to the story? This book was amazing. It was definetly a keeper.
