This book is awesome! The way that the author uses letters in the book instead of, well, telling the story is a great way to make the book better! Ignatius is a good character as well as Seymour and Olive, a ghost. You can read this book, too and now!

Iggy, Olive, and Seymour are headed to Hollywood, destined to become famous movie stars. However, when Moe Block Busters, their producer, writes Olive out of the script, Olive is furious. She is replaced by a ghost named Evilo (Olive spelled backwards) who is going to be played by Ivana Oscar, Hollywood's favorite femme fatale. But, little does Moe Block Busters know that Olive has a few tricks up her sleeve, and she is ready to do all she can to end up in his movie, Evilo Must Go! With a few unlikely friendships and interesting contracts signed, Hollywood, Dead Ahead is a book that you could die for. Kate and Sarah Klise form a humorous book around a bone-chilling plot that will delight anyone who ends up reading it. This is a great book to add on to the Klise sisters' series, 43 Old Cemetery Road.
"Hollywood, Dead Ahead" is the 5th book in the 43 Old Cemetery Road series. The main characters are a young boy, an old man, and a ghost. Yes, a ghost. In this story, the trio travel to Hollywood to have a movie made about their books they write together. But Olive, the ghost, is left out. In a story told all in letters, they make their mark in LA. This book didn't disappoint and I think kids any age can enjoy this book. Have fun reading! :)
Thisbook is really good and very well written. I also enjoyed the surprising end. The book was really funny since Olive was telling so many jokes. My favorite character is Ignatius Grumply because he is funny and grumpy at the same time, which is an odd combination.
This is a funny and clever book. A few times I found following the different conversations a little confusing until I got used to the book. Olive, the ghost, was my favorite character. She was convinced she was a movie star even though nobody could see her. Read this book!
This was a really fun book to read. I especially liked it because it was about Hollywood and making movies and acting. It was also about writing and making friends. It was really funny, too, and I liked how the characters have names like "Don Worrie." I could not put the book down!
i love it. meaningful. and olive is always so sassy and quirky.
This was probably my favorite book in the series. As you can tell by the name of the book, the authors of 43 Old Cemetery Road series are off to Hollywood. At least the human ones are. Olive seems to be left out, or they just don't believe in he. As the film starts shooting things turn upside down, and Olive gets her vengeance. Also, some sneaky things are happening behind the scenes in Hollywood and it is up to the book crew to expose the culprits. It is very sneaky and cunning and has you begging for more.
