I read this book last year in 5th grade if you have read it before can you tell me how you thought it was. i think that was a pretty good book people in my class like it and then some did not like it if you have not read this book before i wont try to give any thing away anything to you i hope you like the book. :]

This is a very good book. The curse/ song was pretty cool. Zero must have been feeling brave when he hit Pendanski with the shovel.
This book is sad because the guy is convicted of something he didn't do.

This is such a good book because Stanley Yelnats isn't so surprised when a miscarriage of justice sends him to a juvenile detention center. After all, his family has been ridden with bad luck ever since a one-legged gypsy put a curse on his great-great grandfather. He is told that the hard labor he must perform...digging 5 foot holes in the dried up soil where Green Lake once sat...is meant to build character. But is soon becomes clear to Stanley that the warden is really using the boys to search for something very valuable. The story of the hidden treasure, alone with the warden, Stanley's friend Zero, and the curse on the Yelnats family are all part of a compelling puzzle that has taken generations to unravel.
so far it is about a boy who goes to this camp becuase of his bad behavior and the are supposed to be digging to make character, but then he finds out the counslers scheme

I have read this book... its so so so so so good!!! i love the movie holes and the book! it is mostly about a kid that decides to go to camp green lake for a punishment. then he metts zero and well i cant tell anymore, it is a GREAT book, i recomend it to people... there are many conflicts and about friendship!!!

i have seen the movie but the movie was amazing im not sure about the books though but i would like to read them and i hope there as good as the movies
