Holes is a terrific book! It's about a boy named Stanley Yelnats, who gets sent to a camp called Camp Green Lake. But, Camp Green Lake isn't like a regular camp. Every boy at the camp has to dig a hole 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide everyday. I would definitely recommend this book. You will love it.

Holes is an amazing novel by one of the all time greats, louis sachar. This follows the story of an overly-obese child names Stanley, Stanley is accused for stealing shoes from a charity and is sentenced to a detention center and has a adventure of his life. My rating is 5/5 amazing read. Thanks Louis Sachar :D
holes is great because stanley meets a boy named hector(zero) and they instantly become friends but you will have to read the book to find out .
i remember reading this book in first grade. i loved it. i love the part were he carried zero up the hill. Be carefull when you read this book you wont be able to put it down.
