Holes was another reading assignment. Before I read it, I didn't think Holes would be a very good book, but Louis Sachar really came out for me (As always!).

This is a great book about true friendship. This book also has been set to a movie which is great to watch after you read the book. This book is about a boy who ends up being accused of robbing a homeless shelter from a famous basketball player's shoes. He is giving the sentence to go to jail or to a refinement camp: camp green lake.. Little does he know that when he chooses camp greenlake that it isn't a summer camp. Everyday at camp greenlake they have to dig holes. Each hole must be six feet by six feet. But what are they really digging for? Find out in the one-of-a-kind book!
